What you need:
White plate, bowl, or dish
Acrylic paint
Sharpie
Modge Podge
Paint brushes
Painter's tape
I put painters tape around all four corners,
put a coat of mode podge on and then began painting the center pink.
I used 20629 Raspberry
After about 4 coats I applied modge podge to seal the paint
After the modge podge was dry I drew my monogram with a silver metallic sharpie and then painted it in with Martha Stewarts Metallic Sterling Acrylic Paint
After it was dry I put ANOTHER layer of modge podge on

How cute! I don't know if I'm talented enough to hand draw my own monogram, though.

LOVE this! But there is no way I could draw or write anything on mine myself.
Great job Sarah, I love this & will have to try it soon. I need something to keep my jewelry in when I take it off!

This is so cute! Did you use a template for your monogram or did you do it by hand? If you have a template please share - I've been looking for one! Awesome job. :)

How did you draw your monogram? is ther a dite that allows you to create and trace your monogram?
I tried doing this and once I peeled my tape off all the paint came up. Do you know why?! Thanks! :)
i've tried this a few times & every time i peal off the tape the paint comes off too...any ideas on how i can prevent that?
