And just because I like to put names to faces, I will go ahead and assume you like to do the same...
Here I am!
Happy Sunday to all, hope yours is relaxing as mine has been! Nothing like a perfect Sunday with the person you love the most!
When Sarah asked me to guest post I honestly sat down for a few hours, typed some things up and erased them all. over and over. I had no idea what insightful things to tell you folks, there's not much! So I figured I would talk about what I love the most... fashion. Miss. Sarah herself is one cute chick when it comes to her outfits, I really feel like we have some similar taste in clothing!
So here I am with what I consider to be staples for an awesome summer wardrobe!
First off,
Tops & Dresses
-The Chambray shirt. MUST HAVE! I own about three of these and they are awesome! You can totally dress them up or down! Wear one with a colored pants or short, tuck one in a lacy skirt or a darker denim for the evening!
-White flowy tops, the bagger and flow-ier the better! I love the sheer look that a white top can have, paired with a bright bottom or denim shorts it is an effortless but chic look for summer!
-Rompers! Can't get enough! Rompers are so fun and a little mysterious! These adorable little things can easily look very casual or very sexy. Pair with a simple flop for the day and then bold jewelry and wedges for the evening!
-Maxi dress. Need I say more?
Shorts, Pants & Skirts!
-Huge fan of the jorts. They can be a simple and fun or dressy and cute! I did a post all about styling jorts here!
-Colored denim! Pants or shorts this is a must for this summer! Loving the neon colors but also the deep blues and reds for evenings out paired with classy heels!
-Black skirt, lace skirt and a fun pleated skirt! I am loving the lace skirts this season, I did a post styling two different looks with lace skirts here!
Bags & Shoes, oh my!
- Every girl needs a white and gold bag for summer! I have the one showed above and it is my go-to summer bag!
-Colors! The brighter and bolder the better!
-Over-sized clutch, I love envelope clutches also. These are perfect for a night or dinner out, you can fit a small wallet, phone and camera without it looking over stuffed or chunky!
-Classic and fun sandals, every closet needs a brown leather sandal and also some fun animal print ones!
-Wedges are my savior. I own about 12 pairs of wedges and counting. I love the ankle strap ones above because they are girly and sexy at the same time!
-Nude heels and some sassy colors too! Pair a fun colored heel with neutral clothing, the pleated tan skirt and a black sheer top perhaps?
