DIY Statement Necklace

Supplies:
Acrylic Paint
Clear Glossy Paint
Beads
Teardrop Pendants
Jump Rings
Ribbon/Jersey Fabric

Start out by painting the pendants..make sure they fully dry in between coats..this is after 1 coat (I did 3 total) After the acrylic paint has dried, apply the clear glossy coat

Start stringing your beads together..the beads I used were already on clear plastic wire so I just used that and strung the pendants on to it after attaching the jump rings.

After both strands were done, I tied the plastic wire together

I ended up cutting an old tshirt up to make the jersey material to use for the ties

I created a loop in the plastic wire and tied the jersey ties to it

You are seriously so talented! I wish I had the creative mind (and time) to make these things!! You need to open up and Etsy store and start selling all of your great products! Seriously!

Love it! Now I am dying to try. I always see jewelry in the stores and think to myself "I can make that!" Especially when I see that to buy it is like $50!?! This is great. You've inspired me :)

Found you through pinterest and I'm so glad! You have the best DIY version of Anthropologie's stormy sea necklace. Did you know that once those necklaces sold out that people were reselling theirs for $300?!? Can I ask which craft store you got your supplies from? Great job!
