The Adventures of Moving

Tuesday, October 29, 2013

Well, I'm sure y'all have noticed that this little blog has recently been on a month-long hiatus. Honestly, I just needed to take some 'me' time, and prepare for our move. I kid you not, you never realize just how much stuff you have until you have to pack it all up into boxes---and then move it all! I do have to give a huge thank you to our friends Chris & Alyssa for helping us out...you know you have true friends when they help you move until midnight on a Saturday.

This move has seriously taken a toll on both of us, mentally and physically. Thankfully we are all moved in to our new place and finally can come home from work and just relax, instead of running back and forth with car loads of boxes. I also have to say that I have one heck of a hardworking guy, over the past two weeks I have seen him put so much work into getting our old place move out ready. I'm lucky to have such a dedicated and encouraging companion by my side for all of our crazy adventures!

I'm just gushing to share our new place with you all and have lots of fun decorating and d-i-y projects to post in the future. I promise to be back soon to share more about our new place!

For now I'll leave you with these two snapshots..

  4. There's really nothing like moving to make you never want to shop again and wonder when you accumulated so much stuff! Until like a week later and I'm back to feeling like I have nothing to wear. ha
