The Best Cocktail Snack in 3 Easy Steps
Wednesday, November 25, 2015
With the holidays quickly approaching, I am always looking for something quick and easy to throw together for those holiday visitors. I wanted to share with y'all, a tried and true recipe that is one of my go to's. It's not only easy to make, but also super healthy and sooo yummy. In my house, we love anything salty and that's what makes this snack a huge hit. And trust me, once you try it, just one handful isn't enough. I usually sit this out for guests to snack on while we all chat and enjoy some cocktails (this goes perfectly with a bourbon and coke).

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup Sunflower Seeds
1/2 cup Pumpkin Seeds
1/4 cup Almonds
1/4 cup Walnuts
4 tbsp soy sauce
DIRECTIONS:
Heat up a skillet on medium high heat. Once warm enough, add in each type of nuts. Stir until you hear the nuts starting to pop, about 3-5 minutes, be careful though as the sunflower seeds heat up quickly. Once all the nuts are roasted add them to a large bowl and pour over 4 tbsp of soy sauce (this is what makes them oh so yummy and salty). Stir them all up and let sit for about 5 minutes and then serve with your favorite cocktail.
So if you're looking for a last minute recipe that is quick and easy that everyone will love, this is definitely a great one to try. If you do try it out, share it with me and let me know, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
