Happy Friday friends! Well, it's finally starting to look (& feel) like spring here in NC..but the pollen, oh the pollen is BAD...crossing my fingers it doesn't stick around for too long. I really am loving all the bright blooms and am looking forward to all things Spring, starting with Easter (and white pants) this weekend!! I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend! HE IS RISEN! Matthew 28:6

This past weekend we took a little trip to visit some family in Georgia and had a fun, albeit short, trip out of town. In between time visiting, we ventured out to some local places and discovered some really great shops and restaurants..not to mention I had probably the largest piece of chocolate cake EVER. If you follow me on Snapchat (belleinthecity) you saw the slice in all it's glory, lol!
A short update on my castor oil beauty regime (mentioned here). It's been almost a full month and so far I can't rave enough about my results!! I can tell a HUGE difference, especially with my eyebrows...they are filling in great and actually shaping naturally. Let me tell you, it has been so hard not to pluck them (they look cray!) but I have resisted. I can see some growth as far as thickness, in my eyelashes but haven't seen a huge difference in length. I'm still happy with the results though and will be continuing to use the castor oil on my eyebrows and eyelashes. Be on the lookout for a full review post soon!
I can't get enough of all the fun new springs styles out right now. A few things I've been loving recently that have been added to my #wishlist...these BCBG gladiator sandals, this palm maxi dress, and this tassel crossbody bag.
I have been obsessing over all things blue and white lately. I've always had a love for chinoiserie and especially ginger jars, but somehow recently I just can't get enough. I got sucked into a few Instagram accounts that had so many beautiful pieces..a few of my favs here, here and here. While we were out of town last weekend, I actually stumbled upon a piece at an antique shop that had been on my wish list for a while, a vintage double happiness jar. I couldn't believe my eyes (or the price) when I saw it..I scooped it up and literally ran to the checkout! An added bonus we also found a large brass pineapple at a thrift store for only $14!! My obsession continues..next on my list to find are a pair of foo dogs and staffordshire dogs.
