Weekly Favorites 5.6.16

Yay Friday! I'm not sure why, but this week really felt like it flew by. I've been working on a few different projects that I can't wait to share with you all very soon! Also, it has rained almost all week here in NC and I am praying for at least a little sunshine the next few days. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend celebrating your sweet Momma's!

A few months ago, I discovered a new to me coffee brand Counter Culture...their headquarters is actually based out of Durham, which makes me love them even more #local. Almost every time I have picked up their coffee the roast on date is literally the same week, and it is so so fresh!! They have quite an array of flavors, and I have tried almost all of them...but Big Trouble and Apollo are my current favorites. If you're a coffee lover like me and live in NC I would definitely check your local store..I'm not sure how vast their products are sold, but they do offer an online subscription if you are outside of NC and can't find it in store. Speaking of coffee, I recently came across this article on coffee hacks- a few of these blew my mind..so easy!

I have really been loving the Proverbs 31 daily devotionals. It's the first thing I look forward to everyday and I love that the authors rotate each day. Not only are the words powerful but the associated imagery they use it, is just wonderful and I frequently save it to my phone and will use it as my lock screen for a little extra reminder. If you're looking for a new devotional or just an extra daily dose of faith, I definitely recommending subscribing to their email list, or liking their Facebook page or Instagram they post everything daily on there as well. 

I've been on the hunt for some new books to read, especially with summer coming up...I love a good beach read! There is just something so relaxing about sitting by the beach or pool and diving into a good book!! I found this list of 26 books to read this spring and I've added a few on my list to pick up. I'm really intrigued by The Nest and have read great reviews..also on my radar are Flight Patterns, Eligible, Island in the Sea, and The Charm Bracelet. Have y'all read any of these, or do you have any other recommendations, let me know!

If you saw my post earlier this week, I was chatting about my favorite eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. I've also posted my fav's for foundation + concealer and bronzer, highlight/contour, and blush. I'm excited to be working on a big upcoming collaboration, which will be all things hair + beauty related...so be on the look out!
