Woohoo it's Friday! I hope this week flew by for you all, like it did for me! Thanks so much for all of your wonderful comments on the announcement of my newest adventure last month. I know things have been a little quiet around here recently, but I have really been focusing most of my attention on the new shop. I am really going to try my best to post more frequently on here and maybe take you on a bit of a behind the scenes look.

So I have always, always sworn by the Pssst dry shampoo. I feel like I have tried tons of different dry shampoos in the past and that one seemed to work the best. The only con for me was that it was super hard to find in store..usually only drug stores carry it. But a few weeks ago I decided to try out the Batiste dry shampoo, after seeing so many other bloggers/youtubers talking about it. GO BUY IT NOW! Seriously, not even kidding. It is life changing. Psst definitely got the job done, but Batiste is even better, plus I've seen it a few times at Tjmaxx or Marshalls for half off! I am obsessed with the scent, it smells super clean and doesn't leave any white residue after its brushed out.
I feel like I've been seeing succulents everywhere recently. I really love the look and have started a bit of a collection. I swear, they are very picky though..as far as water and sunlight go. (send any tips my way!) I'm still working on the perfect water/sun combo. I've also stumbled across a few pretty ones I really want to add to a terrarium, would y'all be interested in a DIY terrarium post?! See a few succulents I picked up here.
I'm torn between not wanting summer to end and also craving fall to start...kind of a love/hate thing. Summer is by far my favorite season, but it.is.so.hot. 90+ each day! I'm still trying to hold on to Summer as long as I can, but looking forward to all things fall and have been adding a few things to my wish list like these booties, this pair of leggings and this crossbody bag!
Y'all know I've chatted about my love for all things Chinoiserie (read about some of my favorite IG inspiration + vintage finds accounts to follow here). Slowly but surely my collection of all things blue and white is starting to grow. And just recently I stumbled upon the cutest pair of turquoise foo dogs that I had to have. Not only that, but we also picked up the most perfect vintage serving/bar cart. I cannot wait to refinish it...I've decided to go with Annie Sloan Pure White chalk paint. I haven't used chalk paint before, so I'm a little nervous but, since I won't be doing anything too fancy, I think it should turn out just fine. Do y'all have any tips for painting with chalk paint? Let me know!
What are you loving this week?! xo, S
Linking up with Christina, Amanda, and Jennie.
